Your name, email address and password belong to your own login, not to your business. You can change them in your settings at any time.
Steps to change your name or email
- Select your initials at the top right of the dashboard, then Settings. It opens on Profile.
- Change your Name or Email address.
- Select Save. TicketPa shows "Profile updated."
Your team sees your name, for example under Business members on Team and settings.
Note: A new email address needs confirming. TicketPa emails a link to the new address as soon as you save, and says "Profile updated. We emailed a link to ... to confirm it." Open the link to confirm it. Until you do, the dashboard shows the Email verification page instead of your pages. If the email doesn't arrive, select Click here to re-send the verification email under Email address.
Steps to change your password
- Select your initials, then Settings, then Security.
- If TicketPa asks, enter your current password and select Confirm password. It asks at most once every 3 hours.
- Under Update password, enter your Current password, a New password and the new one again in Confirm password.
- Select Save. TicketPa shows "Password updated."
A password needs at least 12 characters, with upper and lower case letters, a number and a symbol, and it can't be one that has appeared in a known data leak.
To ask for a code from your phone at every login too, see Turn on two-factor authentication.
If you signed up with Google
Your account has no password yet, so Security asks you to create one first, under Create a password. Enter a New password, the same one again in Confirm password, and select Create password. You can keep signing in with Google as well.
