The bell at the top right of the app shows what happened to your bookings without your team doing it, like a new booking or a guest cancelling. TicketPa doesn't email your team about bookings, so the bell is where you see them.

What shows in the bell

Notification When it shows
New booking A guest booked on your booking page. A booking paid online shows once the payment is made.
Cancelled by the guest A guest cancelled from their ticket.
Moved by the guest A guest moved their booking to another time from their ticket.
Paid online A guest paid by card, when booking or with a payment link.
Payment disputed A guest disputed a card payment with their bank.
Refund failed A refund to a guest's card didn't go through.

Each notification shows the guest's name, the activity and the date and time. Select it to open the booking. The bell lists the latest 20.

What your team does itself never shows: bookings you add, walk-ins, and bookings you cancel or move.

Steps to check your notifications

  1. Look at the bell at the top of any page. A red dot means something new has come in since you last opened it.
  2. Select the bell to see the list. New ones have a red dot next to them.
  3. Select a notification to open its booking.

Opening the bell marks everything in it as seen. Each team member has their own red dot, so seeing notifications doesn't clear them for anyone else. The dot updates as you move between pages.

Who sees the bell

Owners and managers. Hosts don't have the bell, since they only run the day.

Emails to your team

  • No emails about bookings, and no setting to turn them on.
  • Owners get an email when online payments stop, because Stripe was disconnected or paused payments. See Fix online payments that stopped.

Note: To keep an eye on bookings during the day, the dashboard also shows Latest bookings and refreshes every minute. See Find your way around the dashboard.
