When someone turns up without a booking, add them as a walk-in on the time slot's guest list. They are booked, confirmed and checked in in one go, and you can record what they paid on the spot.
Steps to add a walk-in
- On the Dashboard, select the time slot under Today's time slots to open its guest list.
- Select Add a walk-in.
- Under Tickets, choose how many of each ticket, and any add-ons. Team-only prices show here too, marked Team only.
- Enter the guest's Name. Phone (optional) and Email (optional) can stay empty. With an email, the guest gets their ticket.
- Under Paid now, choose Not yet, or how they paid the full price:
- Cash, the full price
- Card on site, the full price
- Bank transfer, the full price
- Select Add and check in.
When you can add a walk-in
Add a walk-in shows on the guest list when the time slot:
- is today,
- is open for bookings and not cancelled,
- hasn't ended yet, even if it has already started,
- isn't booked by a private group.
The time slot also needs enough free places. Your online booking rules, like the cut-off and group sizes, don't apply to walk-ins.
Walk-ins buy tickets and add-ons only. Private group prices, and prices guests can't choose, aren't offered.
What happens next
- The guest shows on the guest list as Checked in, with a Walk-in badge. Under Bookings, its channel is Walk-in.
- If you chose how they paid, the full price is recorded as paid, with no TicketPa fee.
- If they pay later, or pay only part now, choose Not yet. Then select Take payment next to their name and enter what they paid.
- With an email address, the guest gets the ticket email and, if you've set a review link, a review request after the time slot.
Note: Walk-ins are added by your team, so they don't show in the notifications bell.
