Everyone on your team has one role in your business: Owner, Manager or Host. The role decides which pages they see in the sidebar and what they can change. Roles belong to a business, so the same person can be an Owner in one business and a Host in another.

The three roles

  • Owner: the person who created the business, who can do everything. Each business has one Owner, and the role can't be given to anyone else.
  • Manager: runs the business with you, from activities and bookings to reports. Managers can do everything except payments, changing roles, removing members and deleting the business.
  • Host: runs the day. Hosts see Dashboard, Check-in and Team and settings in the sidebar, and open guest lists from today's time slots on the dashboard.

Good to know

  • A Host who runs activities can switch the dashboard to Mine to see only their own time slots. See Set up your staff.
  • Search only finds what each role can open, so Hosts find pages only.
  • A new role applies the next time the person opens a page. Nobody needs to log out.
  • To add someone with a role, see Invite team members. To change a role later, see Change a member's role or remove them.
