After you confirm your email, TicketPa asks for your business details. Your business holds your activities, bookings, booking page and team, and setting it up takes a minute.
Note: Check the short name, country, timezone and currency before you continue. Only our support team can change them later.
Steps to set up your business
- Enter your Business name. Guests see it on your booking page, their tickets and the emails they get.
- Check Short name for your links. TicketPa fills it in from the name, and you can change it. It becomes your booking page address, like ticketpa.com/book/harbour-kayaks. Use 3 to 50 lowercase letters, numbers and single hyphens.
- Choose your Country. TicketPa picks it from your browser's language when it can. Your country decides whether you can take online payments with Stripe.
- Choose your Timezone. It only shows when your country has more than one. Your time slots and the dashboard's "today" follow it.
- Check the Currency. It starts as your country's currency, and your prices and payments use it.
- Check the Contact email. It starts as your own email. Guests can reach you there, and their replies to your booking emails go to it.
- Select Create business.
If another business already uses the short name, TicketPa says "This web address is taken. Try another one." The short name stays the same if you rename the business later.
What happens next
- You become the business's Owner, and your dashboard opens.
- Your business gets Standard free for its first 30 days, with no card needed. Plan in the sidebar shows the days left. See Your plan and what it includes.
- To start with, guests pay on arrival, get a reminder email a day before their booking, and see your booking page in the Orange accent colour. Change these on Payments, On the day and Booking page in the sidebar.
- Guests can't book anything yet. Next, add a location and create your first activity. Getting started with TicketPa walks you through it.
