A location is where guests meet you: a meeting point, a studio or a venue. Each activity starts at one location, or has no fixed location. Add your locations first, then choose one on each activity.
Your plan sets how many locations you can have: 1 on Basic, 3 on Standard and unlimited on Pro.
Steps to add a location
- Go to Locations in the sidebar and select Add location.
- Fill in the details:
- Name: like "Old Town studio", up to 120 characters.
- Address: optional.
- Map link: optional. Paste a full link that starts with https://, like a link to the exact spot on Google Maps.
- How to find it: optional directions, like "Meet by the blue kiosk, ten minutes before the start."
- Timezone: only shows when your country has more than one. The time slots of activities here follow it.
- Under Opening hours, switch on the days you're open and pick the times. You can leave them empty if you only run time slots.
- Select Add location.
Then open an activity's Details tab and choose the location under Location. See Create an activity.
Opening hours decide when guests can book appointments here and when your staff work, unless someone has their own hours. See Set opening hours, staff hours and time off.
What guests see
- On the activity's booking page and on their ticket, under Where to go: the name, address and directions, with an Open the map link when you added a map link.
- In booking emails: the name and address.
An activity with No fixed location shows no Where to go section, and its times follow your business's timezone.
Change a location
Select the pencil icon next to the location, make your changes and select Save location. Guests see the new details at once, also on tickets already booked.
Note: A new timezone moves the empty scheduled time slots of the location's activities to the same local times in that timezone. Booked time slots, and ones you changed by hand, keep their time. See How time slots work.
Remove a location
- Select the trash icon next to the location.
- Select Remove location.
You can't remove a location while a draft or published activity starts there. TicketPa says "Move the activities that start here to another location first." Archived activities and past bookings keep showing the removed location's details.
