A one-off time slot is a single extra time for an activity, like an evening run before a holiday. You add it in the calendar, outside the schedule, and the schedule leaves it alone.
Steps to add a one-off time slot
- Go to Calendar in the sidebar and select Add time slot.
- Choose the Activity. Drafts and published activities are listed, archived ones aren't.
- Pick the Date and Start time. The time is in the activity's timezone, shown under the field.
- Enter the number of Places.
- Select Add time slot.
It shows in the calendar straight away, marked One-off in the day view. If the activity is published, guests can book it within the activity's booking rules.
Rules for one-off time slots
- It must start in the future.
- The activity can't already have a time slot at that start time, unless that one is cancelled. Both then show in the calendar, and the cancelled one stays cancelled.
- On closed dates, it's added closed, and TicketPa says "Time slot added. Closed dates cover it, so it opens when you reopen them." See Close dates for holidays and days off.
- Equipment and spaces never stop a time slot being added. Its first booking takes what the activity uses per time slot, like a boat, and guests can't book it while that is taken. See Manage equipment and spaces.
A one-off time slot counts as an upcoming time slot for publishing, so an activity can go live without a schedule. See Publish, unpublish or archive an activity.
Remove a one-off time slot
- Select the time slot in the calendar.
- Select Remove.
Remove only shows before the time slot starts and while it has never had a booking, not even one that was cancelled, as the time slot keeps that booking's history. Otherwise close it: untick Open for bookings and select Save time slot. See Edit a time slot.
