# Booking page languages

Updated 2026-10-15 by the TicketPa team. Source: https://ticketpa.com/help/booking-page-languages

Your booking page, tickets, payment page and guest emails come in 15 languages: English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Polish, Portuguese, Lithuanian, Latvian, Estonian, Greek, Swedish, Danish, Finnish and Norwegian. Each guest sees them in their own language, out of the languages you choose.

## How a guest's language is picked

- The page opens in the language of the guest's browser, when it's one of your languages.
- Otherwise it opens in your default language.
- At the top of the page, guests can switch to any of your languages. The page remembers their choice while they book.
- A ticket opens in the language the guest booked in.

When you offer only one language, the switch doesn't show.

## Steps to choose your languages

1. Go to **Booking page** in the sidebar.
2. Under **Languages**, each language guests can pick shows with its flag. Select **×** on a language to take it off, or select **Add a language** to add one. **All languages** in the list turns them all on again.
3. Under **Default language**, pick the language for guests whose browser speaks none of yours.
4. Select **Save booking page**.

Your default language is always on, so it says **Default** instead of showing **×**. To take it off, pick another default first.

## What changes language

| TicketPa's own words: buttons, steps, the calendar, dates, prices, messages, the ticket, the payment page and the guest emails | Your own text: activity names and descriptions, ticket and add-on names, what's included, what to bring, where to go, welcome text and waiver |

Prices and dates follow the language's own way of writing them, like 25,00 € in German.

## Emails in the guest's language

Every email a guest gets about a booking comes in the language they booked in: the ticket, reminder, new time, cancellation, payment link, refund and review request. Stripe's card form shows in that language too. See [Guest emails](https://ticketpa.com/help/guest-emails).

When your team adds a booking, **Language for their emails** under **Guest** sets it. Leave **Their usual** to keep the language of a guest who booked before, while a new guest gets your default. It shows when your booking page has more than one language. A booking's page then says which language its emails come in, like **Emails in Deutsch**. See [Add a booking for a guest](https://ticketpa.com/help/add-a-booking).

## Share a link in one language

On **Share**, pick a language under **Link language**. Your booking page and activity links, and the **Book now** button code, then always open your booking page in that language, for example on the German version of your website. Leave **The guest's own** to let each guest's browser decide. See [Share your booking page](https://ticketpa.com/help/share-your-booking-page).
